Our Story
It all started one Monday morning on a corner stool of a local dive bar.
Why Gloucester?
The bride grew up in Gloucester and is very excited to share her favorite piece of the world with everyone. Karen’s oldest brother, Chip, has very generously offered his home and yard for the celebrations
If you have the ability, join us Friday and Saturday also for some sight-seeing!
One day, we will take a quick train ride from Gloucester to Salem (about 15-20 minutes). From there we can walk (about ¼ mile) to the Old Burying Point Cemetery, the Witch Museum, the Pirate Museum, and the main pedestrian area with shops and restaurants.
Another day we will be on a whale watch (about 3.5 hours total on the boat). We sail out of Gloucester to Stellwagen bank, where the most common things to see are humpback whales and fin whales, with a mix of various other cetaceans and porpoises like minke whales, gray seals, harbor seals, and atlantic white-sided dolphins.
